This dashboard presents in a visual and interactive way the main socio-demographic characteristics of teachers in Panama, based on data from the 2020 National Population and Housing Census. The analysis covers special needs educators, primary school teachers, preschool teachers and secondary school teachers throughout the country.
The tool allows exploring key variables such as gender, age, ethnic distribution, area of residence (urban or rural), average salary, province of location, title with the highest representation, highest degree obtained and the highest academic level passed. Through dynamic and intuitive filters, users can segment and drill down on the information according to different criteria, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of the teacher profile in Panama.
